Darnelle believes that fitness is for every BODY. Her experience working in the fitness industry goes back more than 20 years. It also includes personal experience as a retired member of Canada’s National Road Cycling team. She has been a weight room supervisor, personal trainer, spin class instructor, cycling coach, running coach and more. Her style of teaching is friendly, her playlists are from the 80’s and 90’s, and her moves are “back to basics” old school strength training, and calisthenics. I really enjoy doing strength training classes and personal training with Darnelle. She always has a good, funny story or something interesting to tell. I love catching up on neighbourhood stuff and keeping fit at the same time. She has also seen me through various injuries over the years, and I believe I was able to recover more quickly with her support and because we have been a team for such a long time.
